At Little Munchkins Early Learning Centre we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land where Little Munchkins Early Learning Centre stands, pay respect to the Elders – past, present and emerging – and acknowledge the important role the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and South Sea Islander people continue to play within our community.
Based in Mooloolah on the Sunshine Coast, we are a community focused centre, offering quality affordable long day care to children aged 15months to 5 years.
Our educational programming is fantastic. And, we believe that the biggest reason for this is our strong relationships with families and children. Much of our learning is a social experience; with role models, encouragement, mentorship and peer friendships, our childcare centre is a warm place to share these experiences and grow from this stimulation. Our rooms are specifically designed to help children reach their full potential.
Educators are also a part of this wonderful social learning experience. Our team enjoys strong, trusting relationships, founded upon a shared philosophy. This philosophy is all about delivering great educational experiences that include and uplift every child in our care. Together, we can achieve the best outcomes for each child, and we celebrate these successes alongside each of our young attendees.
Our curriculum focuses on play-based learning, with intentional teaching moments that inspire new directions for each child. To truly engage each young mind, we take the time to get to know each child, bringing their interests and home lives into our routines. From our learning spaces and table top activities, to our hands-on activities and free choice activities, children inspire us to develop new experiences. This way, children can feel that the learning in our centre is relevant and comfortable for them. This encourages them to identify with the centre, feeling secure and confident each day.
